Recent Visits

Plans and fees

What the plans table on the List your agency page says, row by row, how commission and the claim welcome offer are described, and what the agency portal does and does not enforce.

On this page

The Plans section of List your agency shows what each plan includes. This article explains the table. It describes the page as it is today; check the page itself and ask partners@recent-visit.com (opens in a new tab) about the terms that apply to your agency.

Who can see it and how to open it#

Everyone: no sign-in is needed. Open List your agency and scroll to Plans, or follow the link from Joining Recent Visits.

The plans table#

The table scrolls sideways on a phone (it can be reached with the keyboard). The columns are the plans; the price sits under each plan name.

Two rows show a tick for every plan: Quote requests and messages and Tours matched in the AI assistant. A dash means "Not included".

RowWhat it means
Published toursHow many tours the plan is meant to allow live at once.
Team loginsHow many people can sign in to the portal.
Documents the assistant can answer fromThe number of knowledge documents.
AI-drafted quote repliesMarked "coming soon": the portal has no such feature yet.
AnalyticsThe level of the analytics offered. The portal currently shows the same analytics to every agency and has no data export.
Commission on an accepted quoteThe percentage of an accepted quote's value.

The notes under the table#

  • Commission is charged on the accepted quote's total (per-person prices times the travellers), at least $5 and at most $250 per quote. Cancelled trips can be credited.
  • Invoiced monthly in Nepali rupees at the day's rate. Annual billing: 2 months free.
  • Agencies that claim their listing get 3 months of Standard free.
  • Your plan never changes where your tours rank. Only paid Featured placement does, and it is always labelled. See How we make money.

What the plan never changes#

A plan does not change your reviews or rating, and it does not change how tours are matched to travellers. See Reviews and reputation and Managing tours.

How to use this page#

  1. Read the table and the notes.
  2. Email partners@recent-visit.com (opens in a new tab) with the plan you want and any questions about invoicing.
  3. Keep your published tours, team and documents within the plan you agreed, because the portal will not stop you if you go over.

Troubleshooting#

QuestionAnswer
Where do I choose or change my plan? There is no plan setting in the portal. Ask Recent Visits staff.
Where are my invoices?Billing is not part of the portal. Ask staff.
Does a quote on Recent Visits mean the trip is booked? No. A quote request is not a booking and nothing is paid on Recent Visits. Payment is between you and the traveller.
