How to read this page: the Rules below are enforced by Recent Visits. Everything else is a recommendation: advice from what helps travellers decide, not a requirement.
Rules#
- Tours and details must be accurate. Staff can pause or reject any listing that is not.
- You may only upload photos you have the right to publish.
- Do not ask travellers to share contact details outside the platform before they accept a quote, and do not try to find out contact details you are not shown.
- Do not pressure travellers about reviews, offer rewards for reviews, or ask for a review to be removed because it is critical.
- Quotes are your commitment to the traveller: send only what you can honour.
- Do not claim to be "the best" on the strength of paying for placement. Paid placement is always labelled Featured.
Recommendations#
Keep your profile complete and current#
- Fill every profile field, including website, phone and a clear "About the agency" that says who you are, where you operate and what you specialise in.
- Make sure the contact email is one a person reads.
- Keep your licence and registration details ready for staff to verify; being Verified matters for being recommended by the AI assistant.
Write useful, honest tour descriptions#
- Lead with what the trip is: where, how long, how hard, for whom.
- Be specific in Includes and Excludes (meals, permits, transport, insurance, tips). Surprises cost trust.
- Write a day-by-day itinerary for every day; travellers and the assistant use it to decide whether the tour fits.
- State the difficulty honestly. Being accurate keeps you out of unsuitable matches and bad reviews.
Keep prices and availability current#
- "Price from" is indicative and per person. Update it when your prices change, and say in your quote what the price depends on.
- Set a realistic Valid until date on every quote.
- Pause tours you cannot currently run rather than leaving them live.
Use good photos#
- A bright, sharp feature image at 1200 × 675 pixels or larger, cropped to 16:9, with the main subject clear.
- Add up to four more photos (five in total with the feature image), each with a clear description for people who use screen readers. The description is optional and up to 160 characters; if you leave it empty it defaults to the tour title, which tells readers little.
- Prefer photos from real recent trips.
Answer quickly and politely#
- Reply to new requests the same day if you can; your time to first reply is measured (from when the request arrives until your first quote or message) and shown on your dashboard.
- Answer the question that was asked, then offer options.
- If you cannot take the trip, say so and suggest alternatives.
Build trust through genuine feedback#
- Do a good job and let reviews follow. Reply publicly to every review, calmly and factually.
- Use critical reviews to improve your tours and descriptions.
Prepare your assistant#
