Overview

The Annapurna Conservation Area offers Nepal’s widest range of trekking: short lodge walks to Ghandruk and Poon Hill, the balcony ridge of Mardi Himal, the amphitheatre of Annapurna Base Camp and the classic Annapurna Circuit over the Thorong La pass.

Trails are well marked and lodges are comfortable, which makes this the best region for first-time Himalayan trekkers and families.
