Day by day

  1. Day 1

    Arrive in Kathmandu

    Arrive, check in and rest. An evening walk around Thamel if you have the energy.

    Overnight: Kathmandu

  2. Day 2

    Kathmandu’s heritage sites

    Swayambhunath in the morning, then Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath. A guide helps with the history and temple etiquette.

  3. Day 3

    Travel to Pokhara and Phewa Lake

    Fly or drive to Pokhara. In the afternoon, a boat on Phewa Lake and the lakeside promenade.

  4. Day 4

    Sarangkot sunrise and the World Peace Pagoda

    Early start for the mountain view from Sarangkot, then the World Peace Pagoda above the lake. Davis Falls or the International Mountain Museum in the afternoon.

    Travel to Chitwan

    Drive to Chitwan. Late afternoon walk to a nearby Tharu village.

    Jeep safari and canoe ride on the Rapti

    A day in Chitwan National Park with a licensed naturalist guide: jeep safari and a canoe ride on the Rapti River.

    Return to Kathmandu and depart

    Travel back to Kathmandu for your onward flight.
